The 2023 dates for NEET, CUET UG and ICAR AIEEA UG have been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). All these national level entrance exams are conducted by NTA, with CUET-UG having been introduced in 2022.

NEET

To be conducted on 7 May 2023

Qualifying in NEET is mandatory for admission to MBBS / BDS courses in India in Medical / Dental Colleges. In addition, NEET is required for admissions to  BAMS / BHMS / BUMS / BYMS courses in India and for all BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry) courses under the 15% quota of VCI in recognized Veterinary Colleges.
Even Indian Citizens/Overseas Citizens of India intending to pursue Undergraduate Medical Courses from a foreign (Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Siddha / Unani / Homeopathy) Institute also need to qualify NEET.

ICAR-AIEEA-UG

To be conducted from 26 to 29 Apr 2023

This All Indian Entrance Exam for Admission (AIEEA-UG) is conducted by NTA on behalf of ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) for admission in 11 UG courses offered in 75+ Universities / Institutes pan-India.
Courses on offer
(a) B.Tech in Agriculture Engg, Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Biotechnology
(b) BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Community Science, Sericulture
(c) BFSc
(d) Food Nutrition and Dietetics (this course is subject to accreditation by National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board)

CUET-UG

To be conducted from21 to 31 May 2023

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) was introduced in 2022 for admission in UG Programmes in Central Universities. In addition, many state universities and also private universities started accepting this for UG admissions. Last year, 90 universities accepted CUET-UG score (44 Central Universities, 12 State Universities, 13 Deemed Universities and 21 Private Universities).
